Our experience is that trash tends to build up in front of the feederhouse. Running four paddles on the front shaft helps. You're better off to cut a couple of pieces of heavy angle iron (just a little heavier than the original paddle irons),drill them so that they'll bolt to the mounting blocks, and weld short (just so they clear the bottom of the feederhouse) pegs to them every three or four inches. It clears out the trash and makes a better flow to the cylinder. Good luck!
