Your AGCO dealer should be able to get you the stone trap conversion for your combine or give you information about it. I bought mine in 96' it cost me $119.00, and I installed it myself. It took me about 3 hrs. to put it in, because my combine wasn't predrilled. Supposedly the later models already have the holes drilled, would simplify the installation greatly. I am 59 yrs. old and have run every color combine, except the lexion, and my R-62 is the best one yet, reliable, simple to set up and operate, lots of capacity, but the stone door was ugly. To answer TBRAN; I put one of those on first, trying to make closing the door easier, and it did but you still have to shut the machine down, get out in the dirt and the dust or stand there and wait til it clears, open the shield, get a kisser full of chafe in your face, then close the door, dark age backwards in my humble opinion. With the stone trap you decide when and where to clean the trap. Good luck this year, guys, and be safe out there!! Dale Walker SCMI.
