We cut a few acres of dwarf corn last year with our 300 direct cut head. Must be careful to keep the reel high so the stalks don't damage it. Also took a lOT of power to run all the fodder through the machine. We had to use the grain head because the ears on the dwarf corn would have gone right through the corn head, even with the stripper plates set close. All in all, it can be done but will be a pain in the arse! Tom langan
