We buy some aftermarket parts from a catolog called Schoup. We have been pleased with them. Do not have their phone in the house, but they should have a web site. let me know if you need the number.
I know what you mean. If it's a pipe reel with plastic fingers I get them from Shoup Mfg. at Kankakee, Il. They are about 1_4 the price of NH.Seems like a little over $1.00
What head and how many teeth are you looking forIJ I work for a john deere dealer and would be willing to price some to you if i knew some more details. Are you looking for the john deere teeth individually or the whole slatsIJ If you are interested email me! Good luck Brent
My pipe reel fingers were cut off short by the cutterbar so I used 1_2 inch anhydrous hose cut 8 1_2 inch long warmed up with the propane torch I shoved these over the stubby tines for about 8 cents each.
we sell a reel tooth that is aftermarket. Have sold hundreds of them. Instead of paying the high price of the half bat right or left finger we cut a full one as they are much cheaper. Tell me how many you need and what year and model head you have and I will send you a quote.
I just saw in Farm Journal that S.I.Distributing in Ohio is selling a snap on plastic finger for quick replacement of broken off plastic fingers. i have not tried any, but they might workI think they are $2.50 each.
