If i'm correct, the picture was taken on the King Ranch in South Texas. There are several large, framed pictures like the one described hanging on the wall at the local Deere dealership. Go to www.robstownhardware.com to see the cotton picture.

where are these pictures at. i would love to see them. dont hardly see anyone in a milo field up in nebraska anymore. on a second note, the combines in brazil also have a picture with the planters coming rite behind them with the double crop. i counted around 12 planter and tractors. there is a great article on the brazil frontier in the high plains journal this week. most all of you would enjoy reading about it.

That picture of 20 8820's was also featured on the cover of John Deere's 1979 or 1980 Annual Report that my Dad received. I have it in my stack of literature that I'm trying to keep my wife from throwing out. Just bought online two 6600-7700 Combine brochures in excellent condition,1972 and '75 models.Sure are different than today's models. The '72 one shows a 3300 without a cab! Just my 2 cents. D.W.

I may talk to the local Young Farmers director as he has a digital camera and is a computer whiz. Hoefully the picture is not at the bottom of my stack of stuff in the box! D.W.
