I would'nt worry too much about an exact pinch point. If you've been running the one piece concaves, and the losses and tank sample are acceptable, then you're set good enough. If you start to have problems with the sieves overloading on one side or the other, or you cant get the concaves tight enough without touching the rotor, then you may wish to make an adjustment. The pinch point is going to be different on nearly every machine out there. Its also going to be different with some of the aftermarket concaves. No problems really.I have the concaves out to install gorden bars and cover plates and the zero was down around 6-6:30 and i thought that was too low so I was looking for input on the best place to set it.

Well, when you're running and the machine and it is doing an exceptable job, its probably set about right. If you are having problems with the tank sample or the tailings are overloaded, then its time to start looking at how the machine is loaded from side to side. Thats when, depending on a lot of other setting options, the concaves position right or left can make a difference. The further open the concaves are, the less important a pinch wedge becomes.
