It should slide off the shaft, but they tend to get rusted on. You'll have to buy, rent, or borrow a big two-jaw puller and may have to grind on the legs a little to get the legs to slip in behind the back of the arm. You'll need to work the puller with a powerful 1_2 inch impact gun. Protect the threads on the end of the shaft, and you may need to heat up the hub where it fits onto the shaft with your old friend, "Smokey the Wrench"
