It is just like any color. If it is not taken care of you gonna have troubles. Had a 4425 ran ten years biggest shut down was when the hydraulic relief valve went south. Or maybe when I ignored the straw warning and bent a walker. Regardless I now have a 4435 hydro. Bought at farm sale cheap. People call them an orphan so generally they go for less than a 20 series. Personally I prefer to have the cab in the middle and the engine behind the grain tank and the return elevator right outside the right cab window where deere put them til' the 00 and 20s'. Check the walker bearings, the elevator chains and sprockets and the chain and sprockets that drive the walkers. There is a small sprocket you can't see well thay may be worn out and it is a chore to replace. Course when it is worn out you probably need new bearings on that shaft any way. this is the drive sprocket for the walker and shaker pan. Never had a lick of trouble with the shaker pan by the way. Hope this Helps, more questions just ask.
