What does this look likeIJ A wedge shaped piece that goes between feeder house and headIJ Does it tip the head up in the front or downIJ Thanks

It is 2 brackets that hook on the feeder house and then the platform hooks on them, There are some small triangles that go on the side of the feeder house to keep the beans in. It tips the front of the platform down 2-3 inches. It makes a big diference in the ability to cut soybeans close

how does it do in stones,if the knife is tipped down toward ground it seems like it would dig more rocks

You would think so but we have not had a problem with it. It is a factory Deere addition

No it doesn't. It tips the front up, so the angle is improved. It's only needed on the combines with these really tall tires (20.8x42 duals). The platforms_feederhouses were designed for 30.5s and not these. It does allow for you to cut closer and NOT DIG. Thankfully the 60 Series will finally have an adjustable fore_aft feederhouse.
