Turbo, We will try and help all we can.How many kerrnels_sq.ft. are you losingIJ We have been running in 180-200bpa.corn @ 26% moisture.19-24 kernels in a 12 inch band width across an 8-30(20ft.) corn head. Two kernels_sq.ft. or 40 total kernels equals a bpa. Our goal 1_2-2_3 bpa.20 kernels would be 1_2 bpa. .25% loss, some say 3% is acceptable,we don't think so.Concave,no wedge 7_8 inch front and back(check it with a 7_8 nut).If your concave rods are an inch apart, remove every other.Seperatreing grate,if your seperateing grate rods are an inch a part remove everyother also. Many concaves plug the inward corner as well as part of the grate with shucks.Add (two)F concave rasp bars to the front of the seperateing grate,(it takes two to span the full width of the seperateing grate).Bolted to the rods.If losses are still high add a flat bar 1_2 inch high by 3_4 inch wide full width bolted to the bottom of the grate bach against a cross bar.I'm sure you are running the extended cylinder bars and helicials. Our grate has narrow rods,we've left all the rods and cut loose everyother cross bar then drove them back and welded to the next remaiming bar. Try some different rotor speeds we are running 360 rpm as the cobbs are still very soft and kernels do not release easy yet.Maybe hyper II will have a couple more commentsIJ Report back. Good luck turbo. Hyper
