Combines plow HP requirments

We used to pull our 6 bottom plow with a 700 Versatile. We think it is rated at about 170-180 hp and our soil is fairly heavy clay so I think in sandy soil, 350 hp should pull a 10 bottom no problem. I may be wrong

Your Versatile should handle 10-18"s pretty well. Ten bottoms are used (too often) around here behind various brands of four wheel drive tractors on some very steep hills without problems.

what kind of versitile do ya haveIJIJIJ is it a 950IJIJIJIJIJ just wondering

its an 875 with a 444 cummins that has been set at 350HP

maybe even more-depending on the make of plow. We've plowed lots with our JD's, grass land, stubble, etc... make sure you have good coulters.
