Pull the drive sprocket and shim BEHIND the clutch between the feeder beater bearing lock collar and the square washer on the back of the sprocket housing. Putting more springs in will not help unless one shims here first. The clutch should be shimed until it will not allow the jaws to jump one another then remove one shim. Inpsection of your lock collar and back of the slip clutch will reveal metal deteriation that needs to be replaced with shims. Using the smaller grain driven sprocket here rather than the larger corn_soybean sprocket will yield higher capacity as well. It will need to be slowed back down for corn however.

Invest in new jaws and springs for the slipclutch and set it up as tbran said. Also, make sure the beans are not piling up on the cutter bar and then all going in at once.That has caused more plugs of the feederbeater both when I had an F and now with an M2 than everything else combined. let the reel down as low as possible without hitting something and keep it turning fairly fast. Consider the hose mod that is mentioned here on this site.

For a cheap easy fix to last a long time just stick a couple of pennies behind the springs!

Thanks for the response Tbran, added a couple of shims, and it is not slipping nearly as much, still don't have it feeding as smoothly as I would like. large bearing on the PTO shaft locked up. I still don't have it out yet. I don't have a service manual, looks like it is going to be a bear to change. I have just left it setting, and trying to keep the F2 running, all sorts of nasty little surprises keep turning up on it. Thanks again for all the responses, Greg
