You DEFINATElY want to go with the Deere ones. I've had "off-breed" poly on corn heads and there's no comparison. I believe they first got on the heads in '96. (This was the last year for the "blue" poly too.)

I had a '91 model with the steel dividers. A friend thought he would be helpful and take my header to the field for me. He forgot they stuck out so far on the trailer, and clipped the side of the door frame. Insurance company payed for steel, but i replaced with poly. Saved almost $1000.00 and got what I really wanted. The neat thing about those is, you can take the long part off and buy a small steel one to go in there and you don't have all that stuff sticking out. It does just as good if you can follow your rows straight.
