Deereman, I have some poly skid plates on my flex header that I got from May-Wes MFG. They seem to hold up pretty good and they went on easy also. Their web site is www.may-wes-mfg.com_ Good luck. K.A.

Deere sells them as a BH bundle, and a 12 row 22" head (1291).

John Deere makes parts for 22" spacing. Same as for the 20" spacing just configured slightly different to center on rows. Crop doesn't stick to the smooth surface on these. The heavy end points are made to get themselves out of the ground on their own. Servicing is easy. The points jack up out of the way. GVl's have a series of flats that make up the curves on the points and aren't as smooth. They look like a cheap knockoff of the Deere. Haven't seen them in crop. Don't know their wear life. If I'm not mistaken the Polytin is a polyurethane sheet over a framework with added parts around the bottom for wear. Crop hangup areaIJIJ You'll pay more for the Deere parts but you won't find better.
