Combines Precision chaff spreader

I,m using them on my R7 and like them a lot. They throw the chaff out the full with of a 30' head. left side works great just put your chaff spreader in the lowest notch as possible and crank as much air to the crop as u can.

KlH Did you cut the rubber on the left side to allow the fin to go thereIJ I was going to try and lower the board lower then original but I don't know how far I can go before causing another problem. Did you use all four finsIJ

Does anyone know if these can be used on a N6. It is an '84 and there are no fins or adjustments on the back, just a standard setup. John

We lower our tailboard, can't remember how much, but we moved shoe as far back as it goes and add acouple of inches and set it there. we did remove a bit of rubber from straw spreader. we use our own homemade ones and run 3 to right and 2 to left. we run 30 plus feet most days depending on wind etc, very even spread. We also had a set on an N6, don't recall the dimentions but there were some differences as we reused them on the 2 series R machines but did some modifying.
