Combines Precision pickup

I am also looking at a new combine, 9760. I demo one this fall with a 914 header. Once I got over 5.5 - 6 mph, the grain was hitting the front auger about half way up and then the teeth would bring it back down. My local dealer sold 4 9760, one with the 914 and the others went with Precision. The owners were very happy with the Precision. The cost of this header is $2000.00CDN extra. At 6 mph (swath master pickup)the grain was feeding nice and even. The JD auto height works with this header as well. Good luck

The swathmaster is one of the best pickups we have had, although not the cheapest. last quote $9000 cdn for pick-up only. the JD is also good if you set it all the way forward for higher speeds.

This past year we bought a 9660STS and at that time we decided to change from the Deere 914 to the Precision 1300 with Swathmaster. Best move we ever made in my opinion. We farm in Saskatchewan.
