i dont know if it wise to get more power from this engine which is a 354.4T rated 145HP it is derived from the old 354 which is only 105 HP you may be pushing your luck You could drop the V8 straight in here you may be able to find one in a breakers yard

keep it cool. Got a friend with a 1100 massey pump juiced and turbo. Cranking 170hp. Your engine is probably a dot4 can take a lot more. Good luck. Arob
