Combines preserving combine history

I am a die hard combine enthusiast. I have recieved a model 21 massey from a farmer who I cut for in Kansas. He recently retired and he give me this old machine. It has been shedded and is actually a very mint condition combine, it just needs a little paint and some time. My dad went to an auction this spring and bought me two massey model 35's. They are in a bit rougher shape, but I have managed to get all the valves unstuck and eventually got one of them running. I have had a good time working on and tinkereing around with these old machines. I am looking for an old International to fix up and restore as for I am an international man myself the masseys will have to do untill I find the International I am looking for.... well good luck to you...

Weber, If you'd like for me to search for you an old IHC, please contact me personally. I run across old IHC's in desparate need of preservation from time to time in Oklahoma and Kansas. I already know of two in west Kansas. I feel our combines in particular are endangered by their age than any tractor or whatever else is commonly sought after. I think the age of getting serious with combines is already at least 30 years late. It is tragic that while hundreds of tractors are in museums and private collections, old combines were just slaughtered by the dozwns in demo derbies across the nation. Thank goodness, that has stopped, but only after the old combines became too hard to find. Gee, why not just open season on the bald eagle and whooping crane while we're at it! I'm a real combine enthusiast-even more than with tractors, although I like tractors, and , yes, am grateful to see their preservation. I realize a lot of people perceive combines as often too large for easy loading_hauling, but every time I've seen them, they were really show-stoppers. I think a lot of people really enjoy seeing different stuff at old iron shows.

I have a friend who I believe still has a 303 IHC which is complete, as far as I am aware. If you're interested, let me know.

Weber, you did not state your e-mail. You may not want to make it public, but that's okay. If you'd contact me, I have access to old IHC's in central Kansas and N. OK. If you're not married to the old M-H 21, I would like to have it if you're within a reasonably close distance. I used to have one, but had to leave it behind in central Texas. I just want to hear from you to talk more about these old combines. Thanks.
