This problem is something that combine makers overlook. It doesn't matter what brand, they all have there problem areas to clean. It would be interesting to see what variation there is between machines. The problem we face on our farm is more of changing between crop types rather than seperating varieties within crops although this is still a problem. Your idea of different colored corn would most likely work. Unless you have two crops that are similar physically but a different color. Here we could use say: Field peas and lupins, which are a similar shape and size but one is green_brown and the other white.
