At least they have a slip clutch. My J.D. does not have one and breaks pulleys.

I don't remember how the 8010's are set up, but I know on the 2388, the slip clutch had a grease zerk to grease it. Why, I don't knowIJIJ We had that problem on wheat harvest with a couple combines, we just quit greasing it, and on one of them we had to shim up the springs on the clutch to hold tighter. Seemed to fix the problem.

I had an 8010 and had the problem you are talking about. After 5 set of slip clutches we finally found the problem. If was the seperator clutch that was slipping causing it to overload the elevator thus slipping the clutch. I hope you are having better luck than i had with the 8010 we had
