first, level and zero your cylinder to be sure your clearance is actually what you thnk. Then, don't be afraid to speed up the cylinder as much as 800-1000, also, what shape are the bars and concave inIJ
The bars were replaced last year and also the concave. They would have 1000 acre's on them. I'll relevel and zero the cylinder and if that doesn't work I'll try the speed. Thanks Kurt
also there are concave filler strips available to help in this area as well. Makes the cyl more agressive and hits the unthreshed pods again. There is a narrow one for the first strip then wider one for the rest. usually 2 do the job. The just clip in.
