Combines problem with 9750STS

One section of large wire concave instead of the round bar concave will work wonders if your have a bunch of dry material in the rotor. The large wire is more agressive and will break up the dry stuff into smaller pieces so the grain can get out. Several guys in my area tried this fall when it was bone dry out and had good luck.

We had really spongy cobs on alot of our acres. I had to smack the concave way down to get it off the cob. It was really a pain in the butt. We run a 9750 with a 12 row. When I done a loaded shutdown I was finding corn on the cob at the seperator end of the rotor. then the chopper shelled it and littered the ground. I really hope next year is better. This might be a problem. Maybe somethin to look at. Have a safe and profitable day.

we were having the same trouble with the corn stocks being very dry this year we put smooth rub bars on the feed accelerator and it seemed not to chop the stalk as much before it got to the rotor
