Sounds to me like there is too much pressure on the ground. Do you use auto height control and is there sufficient movementIJ My skids did over 6000 acres and still not worn out,

I know most guys don't want the setup _ maintainance of the "Quick cut" double knife, but I will challenge anyone with whatever setup to do a better faster job of cutting than the factory Gleaner Quick cut. I mention Gleaner parts only, because if you use part houses stuff, they are different. Strap width is different, so the section overlap is different, and the lower guards are of softer material, etc. Stay with Gleaner parts if you demand best cut and DO NOT run them fast, as the cut is best slowed down.
