Check air choke to see if level and if it can raise all the way to stop screws on upper limit. Make sure when y ou turn the crank it OPENS and not closes due to arm pu t on backwards. Hole in bin bottom can leak and overload shoe. Fan drive belt slipping and slowing shoe under load. Fan sucking up trash from ground. Splitter off level. Fan blades coated over with oil_debris from seepy trans filter. Chaffer louvers or sieve fingers broke. Incorrect air setting. Incorrect chaffer sieve setting . low engine RPM. Sep clutch slipping.

Probably the best thing you could do in the long run is to get a Bead screen, they run about $350. That should take care of most of your debris in your bin. Its an overall good investment.

Good suggestion. I have been using bean screens instead of the adjustable sieve for almost 25 years. A screen will not cure other problems but it will help clean up your sample.
