Combines problems with header control

There should be a sensitivity control knob in the cab. Check its setting. If it's set too sensitive it can cause this problem.

I dont know if this will help your problem or not but make sure your head isnt dropping too fast when you drop it to the ground. You adjust it with the bolt at the valve stack per operaters manual. Just make sure it drops nice and easy and not bang the ground when it hits. I would shut accumulator off. In extreme cases it could be AHHC control module. Good luck.

Suspect header controller then, provided the sensitivity pot is working properly. Do you have a known unit you can "borrow" for a testIJ

We have the same problem. If your head is linkage instead of cable to the potentiometer it is worse. CIH has no idea of how to cure it, or if they do, they haven't told dealers.

It is the ground wire to the AHC box. Had same thing happen.
