full fingered headers had an upgrade to beef up the fingers and shafts and will have another to change out center fingers to solid fingers as in 8000 heads. This will be a running change as far as I know. We have had no problems after doing these two upgrades. Combined with orbit reel, it is the best we have had per some guys who have had experience running all kinds.

get rid of the orbit reel get a U2 works a lot better, agco messed up not hooking up with U2 guys that have run the orbit will agree on that one, neighbors run a case with an orbit as they said looks like it came out of a machine shop and i agree totally. they traded heads this year and told their case dealer they want a U2 they got it for a 2020 head. our MF dealer got the orbit reel in all but 2 heads ours and a nother guys, then 2 guys refused delivery of them said get a U2 so back they went, then 3 of them ran them 2 days a took it all off said it was a joke grass and weeds would all up around them had to quit and go unwrap them U2 they never had to stop at all. i will say one thing though we never did break any fingers like everybody said they did, not sure why, but never had a problem! allen central illinois

I agree. U-2 is far better;Agco should make this standard. Our 8000 came with one ; ran it for a while -went to an air reel- went right back to the U-2--much better. So now have a low hour air reel for sale ! 20 foot Crary.

U2 is smaller in diameter, does work really well. However it is not a factory option now. Headers can be ordered less reel then add the U2 or whatever.
