Yep! I'll second that. We're running the same setup, only on the small P3 and it has really made cutting soybeans a JOY. We honestly cannot tell the difference now between cutting green-stemmed beans and dry ones. They all flow right through with NO ROTOR RUMBlE whatsoever. Get that head to feed evenly and these things seem unstoppable. I only wish now that we had lateral tilt on our R52 so we could run a 20 or 24' head. We're running a 15' now and were cutting on some hills yesterday where the uphill side was just clipping the tops of the beans off - very STEEP!! Anyhow, I'm a firm beleiver in tbran's disrupters to rip apart any wads or roping that may start in those tough conditions. Get those bars off and give it a try - as Tim said - it's all reversable so you're out nothing but your time if you don't like the results. Good luck, Tom langan

Can I see a picture of this setup. Not clear on your placement of cylinder bars On large p-3. Also your steep pitched helicals I question because this is the way p-1 's were setup and I thought that caused a lot of transition problems between the steep pitched helicals and the regular pitched helicals. Also if you crank up a high wire sep. grate will it acomplish the same thing as putting in that f-2 barIJ

Could use lateral tilt here to on the flat Tom because one side goes down in mud before other, Had to straighten a bar in the roter yesterday was impressed how easy it was to work on. Got a rock in there we have those to. lloyd

Does gleaner have any attachment on the feeder to allow the header to follow the ground. I just got some JD literature - It appears they make their headers ability to pivot laterally a major selling point. With larger and larger headers and machines - how are you handling the width problem in uneven terrainIJ Thanks, bill koob

Yup. Gleaner offers a lateral tilt option on their machines as well. Been available since '96 I believe.
