Have 20' on my l2 in green stems it is too much. last year it worked great but plants were drier. I can't even come close to 3mph. All the red and green boys around me are cutting like crazy. I wish I had something with a reverser to clean out the slugs.

20 ft. should be just right, do you have cutout cly, barsIJ we put those in , and man , did it make a difference. it doesnt make much difference what the head size is if your worn or misset behind the feeder drum. just our experience.

Dealer was telling me about the cutout cylinder bars this morning. Do these help. Do they work good in wheat and milo as well as in soybeans. New set $825 About the same as black bars.

Call St Johns. They have a enclosed cylinder and concave that will inhale those soybeans. I put one in my l3 and never ran under 4mph in soybeans. The cylinder will take more than the cleaning shoe can handle. Takes less hp also. I spent years fighting plug ups and slow ground speed until I installed this setup. Best money I ever spent on a combine. Email me at white84@hotmail.com for more info.

yes , they do the job. couldnt believe how much better they worked and pulled the crop in, they wrk well in all crops, just might have to run tighter or a atad bit faster cyl., MAYBE. try ST. Johns Welding in kansas, we got our bars from them. i think youll like them.
