Hello Ran into the same problem as you so ended up selling it for feed wheat at 2.70 a bushel with no discounts are sample cost, otherwise it would of been worth $2.00. So something for you to think about.I live in Montana as well.

I live in Montana too. After the rain we got in June a lot of farmers top dressed their wheat including us. We did our whole place. I also custom spray using a JD 4720. I top dressed some custom acres because farmers didn't want to run over their crop with their big tractors and tow behind wheel boom sprayers. It was a good year for arial aplicators around here too. Neighbor last year had some 9 protein spring wheat. He would have had to pay the elevator to take his wheat. Don't know what he did with it.

I live in eastern Washington and have been ctting DNS for two weeks. The protein scale here is 15 cents a quarter up from 14% and 22cents a quarter down. My has been running 13 to 16% and I sold some before harvest at 4.88 a bu. have a good harvest

I think you got ripped off big time. I sold my last years spring wheat in march got 4.50 a bushel protein was 13.6 ended up getting 4.36 it went for milling in Mn.
