So can you fill me in on all the problems that case is having with the single rotor. We have run the rotors from the 1400 series clear to the 2300 series and dont recall having any problems with them...

I'd also like to know the probs on axial flow too I've yet to see any major faults as I've worked on almost 1500 of them in Uzbekistan Central Asia combining rice where all other combines are parked up like in a graveyard!! Only bad ones I've seen are rear and front rotor plates cracking usually after the combine has blocked up on soaking wet rice!!

My apology to the two of you. I was not referring to the peresent or past Rotors, I was talking about the research or experimental machines the ngineers are working with. They are trying for more capacity etc. I have no doubts about what you are saying, but we are now trying to go to the next level. I think the twin-rotor has the best chance of doing that. I am not going to back down from my original thought that the TR's have enormous capacity and I don't think we have used it all up yet.
