I learned to combine with a 751 and MF1135. It was a good set up but it would sure have been nice to have a hydrostatic trans. on the tractor in front of the combine. The MF 6180 that I have now with the 4 speed powershift would have been a great combo. If you don't do any corn or crop that requires a flex head there is nothing wrong with a pull type combine. They have decent capacity same as a 850 and are easier to work on,just not quite as manouverable as a sp.
