Combines pulling out R72

My uncle used to farm in a low area where getting stuck was common. He had cables attached to the front axle on both sides of the combine running to the rear and I believe they looped together in the center at the rear where they'd pull from. Somehow he had the cables held up along the frame on each side to prevent them from dragging.

We've had guys hook cable to truck tie down locations just behind drive axle. They then bring back and make loop at center of back axle. Tie it up so it won't drag. Cable shouldn't interfer with anything under combine but may make it hard to open bottom doors if you don't leave enough slack. Good luck

I know an old-timer who turned the main drive tires around so you wouldn"t get so bad stuck-then the tread would help you more when backing up also.
