The header back shaft does not line up with the feederhouse shaft. There is a kit available at the JD dealer, that contains the two driveshafts, a couple of bearings and brackets. The header backshafts have to be shortened, the bearings installed to support the end of the shafts and the driveshafts connected. I have done it and found it fairly simple.
