Combines Putting JD head on K2

I put a Kelderman corn reel on my M2 a few months ago and I bought a hyd kit from them with a variable speed valve that is plumbed into the power steering return line,it ran the corn reel,so I don't know why it wouldn't run a reel on a grain head.Maybe someone else has tried itIJ

I made a corn reel for my M2 last Dec.I used a hyd. pump and tank off my parts M2.I don,t have A.C. so mounted hyd. pump where ac compressor would be and drove off ac drive pulley on main engine output shaft.I mounted flow control on grain tank outside cab door-put oil tank on side of combine up behind fuel tank. used main pump port to drive reel and plumbed power steering port back to tank. also installed a relief valve teed off main pressure line back to tank.If you have ac a pulley with a tapper lock hub could be put on engine output shaft to drive pump.
