Either a 6620 or 7720 would work very well for you. I had an f3 years ago and although I thought they were a good little combine, they are nowhere near as good as the JD. The JD will have much more capacity and have a lot fewer breakdowns. This is assuming you get one that has been taken reasonably good care of. As far as hours, I think the engine, drivetrain, and frame will last until they quit making parts for them but like all combines the high wear items need to be replaced. Make sure the high wear parts are in reasonably good shape and you should have a combine that will last a long time.
