ihman, Sorry, I missed your reply. After my post I called our CIH dealer to check on the cost of a new Johnson Rock Guard. According to the parts manager the one we had on our '97 1020 should fit on our 2002. So we have ordered pieces to extend it to 30' with the agreement if they don't work that we can return them at no cost. If it works out that we can't extend it I will post back on here and let you know.

It will be interesting to find out who is right, the rep from Johnsons or the CIH parts manager. Not sure how long before the pieces come in but think it should be within the week.
