Yes you can do it to any red combine that has a turbo on it. I would say probably at least 50% of machines are cranked once you know how to do it it takes about 5 minutes I have never had a machine that was not cranked and I have never worried about fuel usage I want capacity and power. Because if you have the power you will have the capacity. I never had an engine failure yet either. Most of the time my machines are traded around 2000 hrs and are never turned back down. I know where some of them have gone an no problems yet. I think in 2006 you wont be able to crank them any more because of computer fueling. Case is getting smart they will crank them and raise the price 15000.00
