Not 60s, just 50s. We like used machines, because we rebuilt a lot. We've had the STS for one season and found it to be a high wear item and expensive to fix. The 9610 was much better on that. So we went back to walkers, just a newer model with a few improvements. At least in corn the 9650 STS doesn't have any more capacity than the walker and plenty for us.

Where were you able to trade and how many hours ect did you new_old machines have on themIJ You also say the sts doesnt have much over on the walker in corn we dont have corn but what about wheatIJ Ive heard that the kuschar conversion and or the sunnbrook cyclinder will make the walker perform with the sts.

I have not compared a 9650 walker to any other combine in wheat. let summer come and I should be able to tell how the performance is.

i must say that here in Europe I have seen all the new walker combines in corn but there was no one able to let so much material through than the rotary combines. the quality of grain an the much higher losses at the same speed are the reason why they can not perform as well! the only positive side is that the walter take less fuel per acre! We have made 85tons_ha (dont know how many bushels these are) with 9 rows and havent seen any walker going up to this performance!!!
