No I have never installed filler plates I changed my 88s lower seive to the small one that is used for wheat and that cleaned up the sample in the beans, in corn we use that same seive and just open it up wider it works good a few years ago it was a real problem with pods so I put in one wheat concave in for beans and it worked very well but probably filler plates will work also.

FR, Thamks for your response. I have wheat concaves. Whitch one did you replace,I'm guessing the front one IJ Do you use spikes IJ They seem to help in tough beans.

Yes it was the front concave and no I have never used the spikes I think when going to corn maybe to agresive just my thinking hope this helps.
