I have found about the same conditions exist with the STS that exist with the CIH...Both have to be cleaned out in the same number of hours however the deere is somewhat easier, they have a better way to get to the radiator
After running four STS for a year, we found that we had to clean the radiator almost every day, depending on the conditions. The rotary screen is pretty loose letting dirt slip by easily.
The 2366 that I hauled grain from thru 700+ acres of soybeans and 750 acres of corn usually needed it's radiator_rotoscreen cleaned every 3 days in the beans and every 5 days in the corn. It's really pretty dumb to not check the radiator every day when you fuelup_service. One day in real bad conditions can plug enough to cause some overheating you don't need.
Run a 9650W on 2000 acres of beans and 2000 acres of corn, clean out the radiator twice a season. It would seem that some seal is not working if it has to be done more often. Check everday just to makesure, but that is what we have found
