Good to hear it worked out for you. A computer glitch last spring dumped my e-mail box, addresses included, and I never did recover some of them, yours included. Hope your winter is going well. Dave

Chuck, After I finally figured out how to adjust the harvested weights, we cut a couple of loads and weighed them. After tweaking the monitor as per the manual, we cut a whole field of milo and then compared. Seems like I remember we were off maybe 7000 to 8000 lbs on 150,000 total cut on the first field. So then we cut another whole load and I estimated what was on the load and tweaked it again and the whole field came out within 2000 lbs or so. After adjusting for that field, we cut the last one and it came out about 300 lbs off on 165000 cut. I really don't like the way you have to calibrate, but it seems to work well if you do it properly. I checked to see if the sensor plate was in the right place and it seemed like it was. Hoping to get it calibrated on wheat this year. last year, I just couldn't seem to get the system down so I reduced the number of feet of cut until it seemed like the monitor was relatively close to what I thought the wheat was making. You could sure tell when the wheat got better and worse just by looking at the yield monitor. I just never seemed to have the time to get it set when we were harvesting corn. That would have been the ideal time since we were always cutting eight rows. I sure hope the newer monitors are easier to set.I have not used the memory card since it didn't come with one and the dealer didn't have one when I asked about it. Seemed like it was about $120 also. Is there a cheaper place to buy a cardIJ Hope this helps. BTW, the moisture monitor seemed to work really well. I would like to hear of any experiences of the posters on this board on calibrating. John

I'm assuming you were using the memory card thenIJ Were you also mappingIJ I don't have GPS on the 2388. Can I adapt my Trimble unit to work on itIJ I don't have a card for mine. Is there a cheaper place to buy them than the Case dealerIJ Theirs were over $100 so I decided to pass and look for a cheaper one. What card should I ask forIJ John

If it's just the standard AFS screen, i think all you need is a pcmcia (or something like that, most electronic stores will know what your on about) Compact Flash adaptor card and then into it, depending what type you get you can just plug your stock standard compact flash card. I think you can also get an SD card adaptor card too. Just be carfull in how big a card you get. I don't think they like much over 16 or 32mb cards, which are getting tricky to find now. Hopes this helps Cheers Bundy
