Combines Question on Gleaners

We had seen a sign for the Norske Nook a time or two along the interstate and on most of our vacations we try to eat some "local cuisine". It wasn't too hard to find. Although, if we didn't know it was there we probably wouldn't have found it. Usually it turns out to be good as it did there. It is fun for all of us as we never know quite what to expect.

An average corn yield is about 140 give or take a little. '99 we hit 180 on this farm and 2000 it went about 165-170. Beans will run about 40 bu on average. Oats are another thing - if somebody spreads sh_t on their oats, they might run 90-100 bu but will be flat on the ground and lotza weeds. Otherwise, 50-60 bu. Sebas's fingers are gonna bleed converting this to metric!
