R12 sells for $7.50_can in Mexico because they dont tax the daylights out of the stuff like our friends in DC do. The family of Mexicans promised to get some for me next time they go home. We shall see! Tom in MN

No R12 in small cans left in Canada. Not sure if R12 is available in 30 lb. jugs. Seems that everyone is going to hydrocarbons, you can likely find that at home.

I went to a auction last week where they had a 30 lb. can of R-12. It sold for $550. The local dealer who bought it said it was almost $1500 to buy a 30 lb can from a freon dealer. They are going to quit making the R-12 this year.
