I had similar problem on my '92 R52 couple years ago. Turned out to be pieces of spring from one of the popet valves I believe. The only way I found it was to take everything out of every orifice that had anything to do with that part of the valve. You should be able to find problem on raise side. The piece was only 1_8 inch long No guarentee for fix, but just possibility. Had mine apart several times before I finally caught it.

Click on "hyper mods", then click on 'tips' and scroll down to header lift valve. Tl has done an excellent job showing the problem. The bad news in that the valve needs to be removed from the combine, which isn't all that bad a deal especially if you DRAIN THE OIl FIRST or clamp off the hose with a proper clamp. Make sure header is DOWN also.
