Combines R 42 severe rotor loss in corn

During our phone call I forgot to ask if you tried running feeder in fast. You want to try roll cobs into concave and maybe fast will work better than slow!! Rock sump could be screwing up flow if you have one. You likely have high wide wire threshing concaves and seperator grate and they should minimize cob break up as compaired to low wire. Maybe moving back every other cross bar in seperator grate as hyper has suggested would work better in crops or conditions you are in. Could it be the spikes you have in are protruding to far into cage which will likely break up cobs bad (try protruding in just a quarter inch or so). Other wise I believe the most common thing I have seen mentioned to prevent cob breakup is less cylinder bars spinning at full diameter of cylinder (half height bars or leaving some off). If this stuff don't work you may need to let things dry down a bit more or try another variety. Good luck
