RED lIGHT NOT NEEDED WITH THIS CASE, IT'S BElOW MOST FlIGHT PATTERNS. IF PlANES IN YOUR AREA ARE THIS lOW THEN YOU BETTER GET OUT OF THE CAB AND RUN lIKE H---. THE REAR DOOR TO THE ClEAR UP TO DOWN POSITIONS MISS WITH NO PROBlEMS.

What does that bin holdIJ looks like if full it would break and axle or something. You must have REAllY smooth dry ground. AirCleaner Mod looks great!!!

My first question also is how many bushels can your bin holdIJIJIJ Can you open the engine compartment hood without undueing anythingIJIJ How long do you go between air filter cleaningsIJ Or do you ever clean at allIJ Kurt

The local dealer sells almost every new Gleaner with that type of grain extension, it looks nice on a Gleaner and is easy to put up and down for getting into sheds and it adds for example 175 bushels to a R62 or R72 and rises only 25" above the cab when up and only 3" above the cab when folded down !! He has a lot of combines out with this grain extension and no final drive problems. I am considering one for our R62.

I assume you take off present asperator when you adapt down to your pipe. I've heard of several that have similiar setup as yours with great success. I haven't done the pipe trick but have installed larger prescreen and air cleaner when we started having trouble. We mainly started having trouble when asperator bundle got clogged up with garbage. We could not at times see the garbage and could not blow it out even if off and on the floor. We have to dunk asperator bundle in a bucket of water and wash back and forth with water pressure. It surprising how much stuff can hide in there. Some guys have cut area open near where small hose hooks to so they can blow it out that way and then made a quick open door to clean regularly. I have welded on an extra barb on the V8 powered machines so I can hook each hose from exhaust pipe to its own barb and that helps a bunch. When V8s have the large air cleaner I needed to plug swirly things on top and bottom as far away from spot where small hoses hook up so there wasn't so many openings. With to many openings I had little to no vacuum inside bundle where I needed it. Always be sure that bundle is sealed up well to air cleaner housing. I haven't had excess trouble with liquid cooled machines after we welded the can or collector to side of bundle assembly back in '97. If I have trouble with liquid cooled machines and bundle is clean I will get after it with a water manometer to see what is happening.
