I was unaware that they made this change to the 65_75s. Gleaner engineers continue to amaze (read baffle)me. An all 65_75s recall_retrofit campaign should be their response. We will see. If you do not improve the mouse trap - at least leave it alone! I have added some screening for corn leaf protection to the high side openings and have nearly eliminated problems with rear shoe leaf congestion. I do not have as much problems from the underside as I have tall Trelleborg front tires with the axle risers, which gets the whole machine up away from stuff that can suck up to bottom screen. Also, would you rather have a problem that can be tended to by shutting the machine off to clear quickly, or have to leave the cab and clean out. I dump corn on ends, and occasionally when dumping in empty wagon, I check back end, and do a walk around.
