Spring kit was for that exact problem. I believe the one we were to change had the 3 spring setup and we installed the 4 spring. I have 4 spring setups do the same thing after nearly 1000 hours. I have snuged the governer springs and set the RPMs back down to help the problem when in a pinch. Pump should be pulled to have spring kit installed, gov. gaps checked and rubber snubbers installed. Do it before you have to buy a main drive belt and whatever else it could take with it. Good luck.
