look very close to see rollers are going down into detent. Make sure it is clean all the way around door. Be sure that washers next to the head of bolt that goes threw springs are loose when latched. Now if the only thing you find wrong so far is the rollers are not down in detent you need to adjust the plate that door latches onto. Go back just under concave and loosen the two 1_2 nuts that you find there to the point that lock washers are nearly loose. Then loosen the five or six 3_8 bolts that are just below the 1_2 nuts. Once they are loose go ahead and retighten. This will lower the latch plate for door so it isn't allways preloaded tring to open. 1_2" nuts just need to be snuged when all done. Recheck from the begining if it still don't snap in. Remember a poor feeding head or lack of feeder shocks or lack of extending third helical or worn helicals ect. will all put more load on the door.

I was helping my neighbor fix the Rock Door on his Gleaner and adjusted it just like Dan said in his reply, but the last 2 bolts I could'nt get in the slots.( to the outside on the machine) If I tightened the adjusting bolt to move the door catch up to put bolts in the door would pop back open. We left the 2 bolts out to finish the job. What could be bent or what is out of adjustment to prevent the door from closing. Anybody have a solution.

Yes the piece that the 3_8" bolts go threw must be bent. It is the very front part of the frame for concave. You can remove the front section of concave and get a better look. I have used a torch to put a slice in that piece where the major bend is so I could get it back up straight and then I weld in the cut. It doesn't sound like it is so bent that that won't work. When some hard object doesn't get out door soon enough it can bent that iron down far enough so you don't have enough slot to adjust up the door.
