Maybe Gleaner engineers decided they should sound as mean as they harvest! They sure sound nice though. Our R50 awoke a passed out drunk in his house a few years back. He come stumbling out at 9pm, mad as hell, wondering what the world was going on. He lived right next to a farm we used to rent. We are fortunate enough to have a neighbor next to our home place who thrive on the sound of loud engines. He is a grease monkey who is always working on cars and hotrodding them. He's mentioned several times how impressed he has been with the sound of our Gleaner. Another neighbor of ours hires a custom cutter with a 2166 Axial - they don't sound nearly as impressive as a Gleaner, especially for having essentially the same engines in them.
